To date, 1,300 independent Landstar agency locations have made more than 260,000 inquiries within Customer Credit Management tile on LandstarOnline.com.
“The Customer Credit dashboard makes the credit approval process faster, so freight gets shipped out faster,” says Dana Kerschen-Sivils, operations manager at Round the Clock Logistics (JHC agency). “The tool puts all the customer information we need in one spot.”
First introduced to independent Landstar agents in the summer of 2019, the Customer Credit Management dashboard gives agencies instant access to Landstar customer credit information.
“Customer Credit has increased credit approval visibility for everyone in our office,” says Kerschen-Sivils. “Having that customer information all in one place, available for every employee of our agency to see makes our daily processes faster.”
In addition, agency employees say the ability to submit and track credit requests, and communicate with Landstar credit analysts via Customer Credit Management means less time spent on the phone.
“The biggest thing for us is fewer phone calls, which takes a lot of time out of the process,” says Jeff Franks, national accounts manager at Interstar Transportation (ISQ). “It is simpler and quicker to chat with a Landstar analyst right in the dashboard. The response time is fast and the information is available in real-time.”
