Landstar System, Inc., presented the 2017 Overall Landstar M.U.S.T. Customer of the Year Award to fairlife, LLC during Landstar’s Annual Agent Convention held in Boca Raton, Fla., in April.

Landstar’s Mutual Understanding of Safety Together, or M.U.S.T. program involves an extensive tour of a customer’s facility, followed by discussion and analysis of best safety and securement practices.

Landstar Transportation Logistics Vice President of Safety and Compliance Mike Cobb announced fairlife as the Overall winner during a ceremony held April 7, 2018. Also recognized was independent Landstar Agent Michael Wauldron of Transporters USA, the agency which provides the customer with transportation logistics services.

In 2017, Wauldron and Landstar representatives met with fairlife at three of the company’s facilities on nine M.U.S.T. customer visits. Together the group toured fairlife processing plants, then discussed and implemented new loading and securement procedures for fairlife’s ultra-filtered milk.

“The M.U.S.T. customer meetings with fairlife focused on product securement, loading and productivity,” said Cobb. “fairlife shares Landstar’s commitment to safety, compliance and security.”
